The boards are designated for all-night and half-night automatic switching on and off of lighting along highways, streets, in parks and other public places at definite hours round-the-clock.
The boards are designed to provide short circuit protection of terminal lines as well as to give the possibility of manual commutation during break-downs or repairs.
The boards are supplied with power by transformer stations or low voltage distribution boards of 380/220 V, 50Hz

he boards have been manufactured as a welded construction with a protective anticorrosive coating of polyester dust. There has been provided one-sided service at the front part of the boards, made possible through one or two doors with fitted locks. Each board has been provided with openings or clamps for installation on a pole, a tower or a wall. The apparatuses in the main circuits of the boards have been fitted on an installation panel with standard instruments. The symbols of the apparatuses and the connecting cables have been put on them or near them meeting the requirements of the diagrams, using a secret method. The electric diagram of each board has been fitted on the inside of the door.
